Import from Asana (with comments and attachments)
Connect with a personal access token and bring your projects over.
Only workspace admins can import.
- In the sidebar, next to Projects, click + → Import from… → Asana.
- In Asana, open My settings → Apps → Developer console (or Manage developer apps) and create a personal access token. Copy it.
- Paste the token in Moxboard and click Connect to Asana.
- Choose the Asana workspace and the projects, and how Asana sections should become columns or sections.
- Start the import. It runs in the background with progress; you can close the page.
What comes over: tasks, subtasks, sections, assignees (matched by email to people in your workspace), dates, tags, followers, comments and attachments uploaded to Asana (up to 100 MB each). Links to Google Drive, Dropbox and similar stay as links.
You can cancel at any time; whatever was already imported stays.
